Specific Optishot Review

There are two modes for practice – practice zone and 3DD practice. Both have their value. Practice zone is geared towards improving technical numbers like path angle, face angle, swing speed and tempo. The great thing about it is that it tells you exactly what you are doing wrong.

3DD is a three-dimensional visual golf environment and is an actual simulation game. It includes really good graphics and is quite realistic (especially displayed using a projector). There you’ll have beautiful courses, wind in the trees, realistic sky and water and a very decent sound.

Before writing this review, I was astonished by how easily the software is installed and the unit is ready to go very quickly once you connect it to the computer. You then can, using your own clubs, hit all shots from tee to green. You may choose to play with a real ball, foam balls or swing with no ball at all.

The sensors are indestructible unless you just pick up the club and bring it straight down like an axe to hit the sensors. The sensors are set deep enough in the turf to not get hit by a club moving along.

OptiShot allows you to play replications of some of the world’s most famous golf courses, like Torrey Pines and Big Horn Golf Club in Southern California. I won’t go into details in this optishot review about how many golf courses you can download, but once you get the product you gain an access to a huge growing library of world class golf courses.

Playing can be done with up to four players. It can become a fun time with friends, a spouse, or quality time with your kids.

As I’m writing this optishot review, I’ve been playing with the foam balls they give you as a gift, but they do bounce off of a wall. And you may want to buy a cheap net to catch them, which can work great.

Requirements
Computer with 2Gb of memory and 3Gb of disk space
Golf club
8.5-foot or higher ceiling, for allowing swinging of the club

As a final note to this optishot review, I do recommend the dancing dogg optishot, mainly for the fact that they tried so much to lower the price of the product, comparing to their competitors and provide a very good and  a valuable experience. Whether you buy dancin dogg’s product or another optishot, I think you’ll gain much by being able to play and train in your free time at home, saving lots of time and money than if you’d train in the real golf environment.

For more information and see how this game is played, I’ve added in this optishot review a video down below for you to see.
